    What should I take before bed to wind down?
    Reishi is the mushroom traditionally taken in the evening, and magnesium is the mineral with an authorised claim for normal psychological function. Grass & Co. DREAM combines 400mg of Reishi extract with Sage, Magnesium and Vitamins B5, B6 and D, and is designed to be taken roughly an hour before bed as part of a wind-down routine.     Has Grass & Co. DREAM been tested in a clinical trial?
    No. Grass & Co. ran a small 17-day consumer diary pilot with DREAM users, managed by Research Smart. It was not placebo-controlled or blinded, so it cannot prove that DREAM caused the changes participants reported. The results, including the limitations, are published in the Journal. DREAM is a food supplement, not a medicine, and Grass & Co. does not make medical claims for it.
    Are mushroom supplements actually worth the money?
    It depends on what you buy. Much of the category is mycelium grown on grain, where a large share of the stated milligram weight is starch rather than mushroom, and that is not worth paying for. A fruiting body extract at a stated dose, from a brand that publishes batch certificates, is a real product. The honest limit is the evidence: the research on functional mushrooms is early and mostly small-scale, so Grass & Co. makes no medical claims for them and advises stopping after eight weeks if you notice no difference.
    What can I drink instead of a third coffee in the afternoon?

    What is the difference between a cheap and an expensive mushroom supplement?
    Almost always the raw material. Fruiting body extract costs several times more per kilo than mycelium grown on grain, so a very cheap product carrying a very high milligram claim is usually selling grain weight. The second difference is testing: publishing a certificate of analysis for every batch costs money and most budget brands skip it.     Start with one mushroom matched to the time of day you want support, not a ten-mushroom blend where nothing is present at a useful dose.     Functional mushrooms are edible, non-psychoactive fungi, such as Lion's Mane, Reishi, Cordyceps, Maitake, Chaga and Shiitake, taken as food supplements for their traditional use and nutritional content. They contain no psilocybin and are not psychedelic.
    Are Grass & Co. mushrooms psychedelic or psychoactive?
    No. Grass & Co. uses only culinary and traditional functional mushroom species. There is no psilocybin in any Grass & Co. product and nothing in the range is intoxicating.
    Does Grass & Co. use fruiting body or mycelium?
    Grass & Co. uses 100% fruiting body extract in Lion's Mane, Reishi, Maitake and Shiitake products.     What is Lion's Mane used for?
    Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus) is the mushroom in Grass & Co. FOCUS. Grass & Co. pairs it with Vitamin B12, which contributes to normal psychological function.
    What is Reishi used for?
    Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) is the mushroom in Grass & Co. DREAM and the RELAX drink. It has traditionally been taken in the evening as part of wind-down rituals.
    What is Cordyceps used for?

    Can I take more than one Grass & Co. product at once?

    Do I need to cycle off mushroom supplements?
    No. There is no tolerance effect with functional mushrooms of the kind caffeine produces, so Grass & Co. products do not need to be cycled.

    Either works. An empty stomach optimises absorption of the extract, adaptogens and vitamins. Anyone with a sensitive stomach can take Grass & Co. capsules with a meal instead.
    How long does it take to notice anything?
    Grass & Co. advises at least one month of consistent daily use. Functional mushrooms are not stimulants, so there is no immediate effect to feel.

    Yes. Grass & Co. started in 2019 with CBD and still makes CALM CBD oil (500mg and 1000mg), EASE CBD oil (500mg and 1000mg), EASE CBD muscle balm and REST CBD oil (500mg). These are sold in Holland & Barrett and are coming to Amazon UK.
    How much CBD is safe to take?
    The UK Food Standards Agency advises healthy adults not to exceed 10mg of CBD a day from food supplements, and advises against CBD entirely for anyone pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medication. Grass & Co. follows this guidance on all of its CBD products.
    Will Grass & Co. CBD get me high?
    No. CBD is not intoxicating and Grass & Co. CBD products are made to UK legal limits for controlled cannabinoids. They will not produce a high.
    Can I take CBD and mushroom supplements together?
